It is made from Merino wool which I bought in the wool shop in Westfield Centre, Auckland. The wool is very soft and easy to knit with.
These multicoloured socks are lovely and warm, if slightly too big. Whoever invented the sock pattern was very clever. The pair took ages to knits - off and on from November to May! But I like the multicoloured wool, which makes it more interesting.

There were loads of fish and we had a brilliant instructor who made everything very simple. We dived at Blue Mau Mau Arch, Nusery Cove and Gentle Forest.
It was 17 degrees C in the water, but I didn't find it too cold after the initial shock of jumping in.
